Warning! China's 'Spy' Balloons Detected Again
<p> Remember the Chinese spy balloon that was shot down in the United States a few months ago?</p><p><br /></p><p>Most recently, the BBC reported new evidence about the balloon which is suspected to have flown in the airspace of Japan and Taiwan.</p><p><br /></p><p>Working with Synthetaic, an artificial intelligence company that sifts through vast amounts of data captured by satellites, the BBC has uncovered some images of balloons crossing East Asia.</p><p><br /></p><p>However, this finding is not the latest, but in early September 2021, which showed a balloon passing over northern Japan.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>US-China relations were strained in February this year, when a Chinese spy balloon was shot down by an American fighter jet in the Atlantic Ocean off the East coast of the United States.</p><p><br /></p><p>Even so, Beijing has repeatedly claimed that balloons seen in US airspace are civilian aircraft used for scientific research such as meteorology.</p><p><br /></p><p>To investigate whether Beijing had launched another balloon, the BBC's Panorama team looked for reports of UFOs spotted in the sky.</p><p><br /></p><p>As a result, they found two photos taken by Taiwan's weather service, showing balloons over the capital city of Taipei in late September 2021.</p><p><br /></p><p>In response to the discovery, Japan confirmed the balloon had flown over its territory and said it was prepared to shoot it down in the future.</p>
