Waiting For Friday, Will BTC Price Be Green Or Red?
<p> "Still not sure, where do investors think the price of BTC is going?"</p><p><br /></p><p>After surpassing $31,000, the price of cryptocurrency king Bitcoin (BTC) witnessed a flat movement as investors became wary following the aggressive actions of the United States (US) Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) coupled with macroeconomic indicators that remain uncertain.</p><p><br /></p><p>However, Markus Thielen, Matrixport's head of research not only expects the price of BTC to jump 10% to 20% in the next 30 days but also to break through $33,000 or $36,000 by August.</p><p><br /></p><p>Earlier this year, Thielan also said that the price of BTC will reach $45,000 by the end of the year, adding that the digital asset's constant rise during US trading hours means that US institutions are interested in buying BTC.</p><p><br /></p><p>It is well known that the price of BTC has the potential to soar as the crypto market approaches the expiry of the BTC* options contract on Friday this week as traders will buy the digital asset on the spot and futures markets.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>*a contract that gives the holder the right, but not the obligation, to buy or sell an amount of the underlying asset at a predetermined price before the contract expires</p><p><br /></p><p>While Katie Talati, who is the head of Arca's research, is of the opinion that the price of Ethereum (ETH) should not be affected even if the developer changes its maximum validator balance from 32 ETH to more than 2,000.</p><p><br /></p><p>Even so, Talati is very optimistic that the performance of BTC, including other cryptocurrencies such as ETH, will strengthen in the future as investors are increasingly interested in digital assets after the filing of the spot BTC ETF over the past 10 days.</p><p><br /></p><p>As of this writing, BTC price has jumped by 0.08% to $30,323 in the last 24 hours with a market capitalization of $588 billion and is up 12.31% over the last week.</p><p><br /></p><p>While ETH slipped around 1.14% to $1,861 in the last 24 hours but still saw a 6.98% increase in the last seven days and Ripple (XRP) lost 1.93% to $0.47 with a market cap of $24 billion.</p>
