US news – previous US President Trump has been charged in election case

<p>Trump has been charged as a co-conspirator in efforts to illegally overturn the US election in 2020.</p><p>He was booked on more than a dozen felony charges at Fulton County jail in Georgia and has been released. Awaiting trial.</p><p>Innocent until proven guilty is the way the US justice system works.
