US equities close a shortened session with modest gains
<p>It was an early close today because of the Independence Day holiday tomorrow.</p><ul><li>S&P 500 +0.1%</li><li>Nasdaq +0.2%</li><li>DJIA +0.1%</li><li>Russell 2000 +0.3%</li></ul><p>Under the surface there were some big moves with Tesla up 6.4%, travel names doing well and regional banks posting strong gains.</p>
