US Companies Promise RM465 Billion Investment In Malaysia
<p> It seems that American firms have promised investments amounting to US$100 billion or RM465.2 billion in various sectors in this country, which has been for the past 18 months.</p><p><br /></p><p>The matter was confirmed by the US Ambassador to Malaysia, Brian McFeeters who said the proposal involved focus areas such as electronics and semiconductors.</p><p><br /></p><p>He said, the increasing investment into this country is good for the US, especially since Malaysia has played an important role in its contribution to the world supply chain when the Covid-19 pandemic hit.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>This is because many factories depend directly on Malaysian-made goods, so the two countries have a mutually beneficial economic relationship to this day.</p><p><br /></p><p>He added that most US companies that have invested have also benefited from the latest technology offered to this country.</p><p><br /></p><p>It is understood that Malaysia has also agreed to host the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework negotiations that will take place in October this year to discuss how to create a clean economy with renewable energy (RE).</p>
