<p>&nbsp;Microsoft announced more layoffs to come after laying off 10,000 workers in January.</p><p><br /></p><p>The company confirmed the layoffs in response to GeekWire's inquiries, without providing details.</p><p><br /></p><p>This move is seen as a restructuring of the business division by Microsoft as the fiscal year 2024 has begun.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>A Microsoft spokesperson said that organizational and workforce adjustments are a necessary and regular part of managing its business.</p><p><br /></p><p>He added that it will continue to prioritize and invest in strategic growth areas for the future and support its customers and partners.</p><p><br /></p><p>Even so, there is no exact information on the number of job cuts in the new round.</p><p><br /></p><p>Meanwhile on Monday, Microsoft filed a notice saying it would cut 276 jobs in Washington, where 66 of those people work virtually.</p>
