oneZero Shakes Up Sales Team with New Director
<p>After more
than four years at oneZero Financial Systems,
Safwat Hamdan has been promoted to Director of Sales and Relationship
Management. With over 15 years of experience in the financial industry, Hamdan,
who spent a decade at Thomson Reuters, will lead the sales department for the
Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.</p><p>oneZero Financial Systems
Appoints New Director of Sales</p><p>Hamdan
earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer System Engineering from Palestine
Polytechnic University in 2006 and a Master of Business Administration (MBA)
from the University of Central Lancashire in 2014. Thanks to this, he combines
programming and financial market experience in his work. </p><p>"I'm
thrilled to announce that I've been promoted to Director of Sales and Business
Development at oneZero Financial Systems! I am excited to start my new role,
which comes at a time with many busy days for the upcoming IFX Expo and <a href="https://www.financemagnates.com/terms/f/forex/">Forex</a>

joining <a href="https://www.financemagnates.com/tag/onezero/" target="_blank" rel="follow">oneZero Financial Systems</a>, Hamdan worked as an IT Technical Manager for
Omnivest Capital Online Forex Ltd. In 2009, he began a decade-long stint with
Thomson Reuters, initially as an IT analyst and later as a Technical Support
Executive. Additionally, he has been running a sports agency focused on finding young and
talented soccer players in the MENA region for several years.</p><p>In April
2019, he left Thomson Reuters to join oneZero as an Operations Engineer. Over
the years, he has worked as the Customer Success Manager, Senior Manager, and
Team Leader. As of September, he has taken on the Director of Sales and
Relationship Management responsibilities for the EMEA region.</p><p>Hamdan is
tasked with enhancing client satisfaction and retention. He will serve as a
dedicated liaison for clients, streamlining the onboarding process in
collaboration with Operations and Sales teams. Further, he will be
responsible for completing requests for proposals (RFPs), developing pricing
models, and negotiating contracts. Safwat also gathers client requirements for
deployment, coordinating with internal teams for effective implementation. </p><p>"I

added.</p><p>Staff Changes at oneZero</p><p>Hamdan's
promotion is not the only personnel change this month and throughout the year
for oneZero. In early September, <a href="https://www.financemagnates.com/" target="_blank" rel="follow">Finance Magnates</a> reported that Louay
Amhaz, the Director of Business Development, <a href="https://www.financemagnates.com/institutional-forex/onezeros-director-of-business-development-announces-departure-after-7-years/" target="_blank" rel="follow">left his position</a>. His
LinkedIn profile showed that he has served the company for over
seven years, having previously worked at PrimeXM as the Global Business
Development Manager.</p><p>Earlier in
March 2023, <a href="https://www.financemagnates.com/executives/onezero-elevates-relationship-manager-to-director-of-sales-role/" target="_blank" rel="follow">Owen Tu was elevated</a> from Senior Relationship Manager to Director of
Sales and Relationship Management, bringing extensive expertise in the prime
brokerage sector. oneZero also welcomed <a href="https://www.financemagnates.com/executives/moves/onezero-hires-julin-gay-as-emea-institutional-sales-director/" target="_blank" rel="follow">Julián Gay</a>, an eFX tech
executive, in January 2023 as the new Director of Institutional Sales for the EMEA region. </p><p>Additionally,
