JP Morgan forecasts Bank of England to cut rates in August 2024

<p>A note from JPM on Thursday, info via Reuters reporting:</p><ul><li>expects the Bank of England to start cutting interest rates in August (were previously projecting the first cut on November)</li><li>and 75bp of cuts by the end of 2024</li></ul><p>JPM cite inflation coming down and optimism about a soft landing</p><p>The Bank of England Bank rate is currently 5.25%, JPM forecast to 4.5% by the end of this year.</p>
