Japanese Remittance Company Collaborates With Ripple!
<p> "Good, good, many parties are now interested and accepting Ripple."</p><p><br /></p><p>Japanese financial holding company SBI Group has announced that its international remittance service arm called SBI Remit has entered into an agreement with Ripple (XRP) and SBI Ripple Asia.</p><p><br /></p><p>The collaboration aims to offer remittance services to bank accounts in several Southeast Asian countries through XRP.</p><p><br /></p><p>However, it should be noted that SBI Remit has been using XRP payment services for international remittances since 2017.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>Not only that, SBI Remit which also introduced solutions using digital assets in 2021 has provided remittance services using XRP to cryptocurrency wallets in the Philippines.</p><p><br /></p><p>So here it can be seen that the payment technology service will be extended to bank accounts in the Philippines, Vietnam and Indonesia and through the program, SBI Remit will apply XRP as a bridge currency to enable fast and cost-effective remittances.</p><p><br /></p><p>SBI Remit, which expects the adoption of the reform to be accelerated following the high volume of remittances to bank accounts in the following countries, has revealed that they are working with cross-border payment settlement company Tranglo.</p><p><br /></p><p>While not mentioning the exact date when the service will be available, SBI Remit informed that it will be launched this month.</p><p><br /></p><p>Following the continued adoption of XRP services in Japan, Japanese banks Yamaguchi, Momiji and Kitakyushu on April 17, 2023 were found to have started supporting a RippleNet-based remittance service called MoneyTap P2P.</p>
