Government Announces Free Toll in conjunction with Deepavali
<p> Recently, the Minister of Public Works, Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi announced the implementation of free tolls from 12 midnight tonight until 12 November, 11.59 pm following the results of a meeting with the concessionaire company.</p><p><br /></p><p>A total of 11.8 million vehicles will enjoy these benefits for two days to facilitate travel in celebration of Deepavali.</p><p><br /></p><p>Commenting further, toll exemptions will be given to all types of vehicles at all toll plazas except at the national border toll plazas, which are Bangunan Sultan Iskandar Toll Plaza and Tanjung Kupang Toll Plaza, Johor.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>He also advised highway users to plan their journey well and adhere to the recommended travel timetable (TTA).</p><p><br /></p><p>Alexander advises highway users to check the traffic status and any incidents as it will be updated on the official social media of the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) periodically.</p><p><br /></p><p>The Ministry of Public Works (KKR) also wished Happy Deepavali to all who celebrated the festival.</p>
