Focus on good quality trades
<div>Two weeks ago I wrote about intraday trading which is an active strategy. Active strategies do not always produce the best results because an active strategy capitalises on small moves with a tight stop loss. The tighter the stop loss the greater the chance it will be hit.</div>

<div>Remember it is not the quantity but the quality of the trades that count. I focus on swing trading because I get better quality trades. I mean trades with a good good risk/reward with a wide stop loss.</div>

<div>These have a better chance of success because a) there is low probability the stop loss will be hit, b) the risk reward is good.</div>

<div>But there won't be many trades in a month. However, this is not a problem. Too many people focus on quantity and not quality and this is where they go wrong. It is much better to do fewer trades and focus on the good trades. If you can do that you will see a big improvement in your trading results.</div>
