European Commission says that EU law has primacy over national laws

The commission refrains from commenting directly on the German court ruling but makes a snide remark as per the above
It is quite strange to think that we are seeing a challenge against EU law that is not coming from Hungary and Poland, but instead from Germany. Who would've thought?
