China has banned the import of pigs, pig products, from Bangladesh

<p>Due to African Swine Fever. </p><p>-</p><p>I'm posting this as it may have implications for pork prices, and thus the rate of inflation, in China. I suspect any impact will be balanced by an increase of imports from elsewhere but, disclaimer, I'm no China pig importing expert! </p><p>We get the CPI update from China on Friday (the December data due for release won;t be impacted, of course)</p>
