Canada’s GDP Stalls in Second Quarter of 2023 

<p>The Canadian economy contracted by 0.2% quarter/quarter annualized (q/q) in 2023 Q2. Furthermore, the flash estimate for July was essentially unchanged. Stripping out external factors, final domestic demand came in at 1% q/q, right on our expectation for positive, but still below trend growth.
