<p>Bursa Malaysia ended this morning's session lower due to the lack of new catalysts in the local market.</p><p><br /></p><p>At exactly 12.30 this afternoon, the FTSE Bursa Malaysia (FBM KLCI) fell 2.47 points to 1,514.11 from 1,516.58 at the close last Friday.</p><p><br /></p><p>The barometer index opened 0.67 points easier at 1,515.91 and then moved between 1,513.27 and 1,520.98 throughout the session.</p><p><br /></p><p>The market sentiment is negative where losers outnumber gainers which is 529 to 356. Meanwhile, 940 counters are not traded and 11 others are suspended.</p><p><br /></p><p>The total turnover was 1.90 billion units worth RM1.01 billion.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>According to Rakuten Trade Sdn Bhd, market conditions remain cautious due to increased market instability at the global level.</p><p><br /></p><p>Brands also expect the benchmark index to move in the range of 1,510 to 1,520 throughout the day.</p><p><br /></p><p>Meanwhile, among heavyweights, CIMB Group Holdings Bhd rose two sen to RM6.25, IHH Healthcare Bhd rose four sen to RM6.15, CelcomDigi Bhd rose three sen to RM4.24 and Press Metal Aluminum Holdings Bhd rose five sen. to RM4. 70.</p><p><br /></p><p>Malayan Banking Bhd was unchanged at RM9.34, Public Bank Bhd lost one sen to RM4.42, Tenaga Nasional Bhd dropped eight sen to RM10.78 and Petronas Chemicals Group Bhd lost five sen to RM6.73.</p><p><br /></p><p>In terms of sectors, the Plantation Index added four points to 7,173.21, and the Industrial Products and Services Index gained 0.37 points to 172.24, while the Financial Services Index decreased 0.7 points to 17,004.23, the Real Estate Index decreased 6.33 points to 904.52, and the Energy Index decreased 11.19 points to 869.77. .</p>
