<p> "Hmm, guess who will Ripple join hands with next time?</p><p><br /></p><p>Without further ado, Ripple has signed an agreement with US-based cryptocurrency exchange Uphold to support and improve its cross-border payment infrastructure.</p><p><br /></p><p>According to Pegah Soltani, Head of Payment Products at the blockchain enterprise said that a platform with deep liquidity expertise can help Ripple achieve its desired goals.</p><p><br /></p><p>While Uphold's Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Simon McLoughlin praised Ripple as an important player in the crypto space that provides a valuable service to businesses that make cross-border payments.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>Later, McLoughlin also believes that the collaboration has successfully illustrated how the two firms can be combined to make crypto-to-fiat transfers and efficient bank payments.</p><p><br /></p><p>However, it should be noted that the cooperation between Ripple and Uphold did not cause any price increase for XRP after it had made a slight decrease immediately after passing $0.58 on October 24, 2023.</p><p><br /></p><p>As such, XRP is likely to see volatile movements in the coming months following the state of the entire crypto market including potential developments surrounding the lawsuit between Ripple and the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).</p><p><br /></p><p>As of this writing, XRP price has plunged by 1.06% to $0.55 in the last 24 hours with a market cap of $29 billion but still recorded a 14.69% jump over the last week.</p>
