UK finance minister Hunt says GDP data once again proves the doubters wrong

<p>There was a slight beat in the year-on-year reading, up to 0.6% from the 0.4% estimate in the preliminary report last month. That being said, I wouldn't be too quick to cheer on any marginal growth in GDP considering the bleak outlook so far in the second-half of the year. But I guess he still has to fulfill his duty as a politician, eh?</p>
