<p><span data-contrast="auto">Additionally, the company will train future AI models on proprietary chips supplied by the global retailer. The chief executive officers (CEOs) of both companies confirmed the immediate investment of $1.25bn and said either party could trigger an extra $2.75bn in funds by Amazon.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":160,"335559740":259}"> </span></p>
<p><span data-contrast="auto">Neither party indicated how big a slice Amazon will have in the startup or its updated valuation after the funding. A recent estimate pegged Anthropic’s value at $4bn.
