ECB's Knot: Rate hikes beyond July possible but not certain

<ul><li>It loos like core inflation has plateaued</li><li>We need to hike rates in July</li><li>Optimistic to see inflation reaching 2% in 2024</li><li>There is still lots of data due between now and September</li></ul><p>Knot is a perennial hawk but he's not really pushing the issue on September just yet. I would argue more so out of respect to the decorum and agreement that the ECB has not to say anything before the July decision is made.</p>
