Tony Fernandes has sold all QPR shares!

<p>&nbsp;In a difficult decision to make, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Capital A, Tony Fernandes had to give up all his interests in QPR Holdings Ltd, the parent company of Queens Park Rangers Football Club (QPR).</p><p><br /></p><p>The strategic move will allow him to fully focus on efforts to advance AirAsia and Capital A's digital business as well as his other business interests.</p><p><br /></p><p>He, who bought QPR in 2011, said his involvement with the club had been an extraordinary period in its ups and downs.</p><p><br /></p><p>Tony Fernandes in his statement on Monday said he will give 100 percent of his focus in rebuilding the airline business and growing the digital company.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>This is to provide exceptional value for the people of ASEAN, where there is strong demand for low-cost, high-value products and services.</p><p><br /></p><p>He added that he will also focus on finalizing the reorganization plan to free Capital A from the status of Practice Note 17 (PN17).</p><p><br /></p><p>PN17 is Practice Note 17/2005 issued by Bursa Malaysia against companies experiencing financial problems.</p>
