Eh! Biden Won't Allow Ukraine to Join NATO?

<p>&nbsp;US President Joe Biden says Russia's war in Ukraine needs to end before NATO considers accepting Kyiv into the alliance.</p><p><br /></p><p>"Ukraine is not ready to become a member of NATO", said President Biden in his exclusive interview with CNN on Sunday.</p><p><br /></p><p>He explained that he did not think there was unanimous support in the alliance to accept Ukraine's membership for the time being, not to mention in the midst of the ongoing war.</p><p><br /></p><p>Despite this, Biden said that the US and its NATO allies would continue to provide security assistance and weapons to President Volodymyr Zelensky and his forces.</p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>He also thinks that they need to provide a rational path to qualify UKraine to join the alliance, but it is too early to vote because there are other qualifications that need to be met.</p><p><br /></p><p>In addition, Biden also discussed the foreign policy challenges of other countries, including China and Saudi Arabia.</p><p><br /></p><p>He said he had warned China over its relationship with Russia, saying Beijing needs to be careful because its economy is highly dependent on Europe and the United States.</p>
