Markets.com Continues Leadership Change: Names New Europe Head

<p dir="ltr">Markets.com, the retail brokerage brand owned by Finalto, has made another leadership change by promoting Elena Christodoulou to the position of Head of Europe. Based in Cyprus, she was previously the Regional Manager of the DACH region since she joined the company in February 2021.</p><p dir="ltr">Taking Responsibility for European Operations</p><p dir="ltr">The official announcement by the broker revealed that, in the new role, Christodoulou will oversee its operations and strategic initiatives across the European market. She will be responsible for strengthening its presence and driving growth. Her responsibilities as the Head of Europe include overseeing client relationships and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.</p><p dir="ltr">Christodoulou will work closely with other regional teams at Markets.com to focus on products specific to the European client base.</p><p dir="ltr"><a href="https://www.financemagnates.com/tag/markets-com/">Markets.com</a> further highlighted that her “extensive knowledge of the trading industry, coupled with her strategic vision, will be instrumental in driving forward the company's growth objectives in Europe.”</p><p dir="ltr">Before joining Markets.com, Christodoulou worked at the Cyprus offices of <a href="https://www.financemagnates.com/tag/tickmill/">Tickmill</a>, another well-positioned retail broker, for four years as the Country Manager of Germany. She started her career in 2008 in the hospitality industry before moving to the trading space.</p><p dir="ltr">Management Shuffle</p><p dir="ltr">Markets.com is a popular brand when it comes to retail trading. The platform offers trading services with margin forex and contracts for differences of other asset classes.</p><p dir="ltr">The promotion of Christodoulou is one of several executive appointments made by the company recently. Earlier this month, the broker appointed <a href="https://www.financemagnates.com/thought-leadership/marketscom-appoints-marcelo-spina-as-chief-operating-officer/">Marcelo Spina as the Chief Operating Officer</a>, <a href="https://www.financemagnates.com/executives/marketscom-welcomes-luis-dos-santos-to-lead-global-business-development/">Luis Dos Santos as the Global Business Development Head</a>, and <a href="https://www.financemagnates.com/executives/moves/marketscom-strengthens-south-africa-presence-with-new-local-ceo-onboard/">Dany Mawas as the Chief Executive Officer of its South African operations</a>.</p><p dir="ltr">The brokerage accelerated its management shuffle after Stavros Anastasiou, previously the COO of the Finalto Group, <a href="https://www.financemagnates.com/executives/finalto-group-cco-stavros-anastasiou-appointed-marketscom-ceo/">took over as the CEO of Markets.com</a> last July.
