New Zealand December Consumer Confidence rises to 93.1 from 91.9 in November

<p>ANZ New Zealand survey of consumer sentiment improves.</p><p>The move higher for consumer confidence, although still below 100 and note pessimistic is not the only item of encouragement in the report. </p><p>As part of the survey is a question about inflation expectations. These dropped from 4.6% to 3.9%, in the month. AZN cite cheaper fuel prices.</p><p>This is the first sub-4% read since October 2020.</p>
