US announces military air exercises in Guyana joint operation

<p>Guyana has 6000 regular military compared to 150,000 in Venezuela so there's little chance that Guyana could stop the annexation of Essequibo.</p><p>However, Exxon owns all the oil offshore in Guyana and there's no chance that the US military doesn't backup Exxon.</p><p>That said, the <a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guayana_Esequiba" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Guayana Esequiba border dispute</a> is an interesting one that's not going to go away.</p>
