US Senate votes to approve temporary funding to avert a government shutdown

<p>The House passed the bill on Tuesday.</p><p>The Senate has now passed it. </p><p>It'll now head to the White House for US President Biden to sign into law, thus averting a government shutdown.</p><p>The funding bill will keep federal agencies running for another two months. it left out aid to Ukraine and Israel.</p>
