30yr fixed rate mortgages 6.78% in the week ending July 20th (prev. 6.96%) – Freddie Mac

<p>Freddie Mac is reporting the 30 year fixed rate mortgage rate fell to 6.78% in the week ended July 20. Last week the level came in at 6.96%.</p><p>The move lower is a reaction to the lower yields in the treasuries as a result of lower than expected CPI data last week.</p>
